Verona-Cedar Grove Times: Cedar Grove is center of Essex County-wide effort to control mosquitoes

The enemy sat in a hot room last week after being captured in Maplewood and brought to Cedar Grove. More than 100 of them floated and swam in a pool of murky brown water.

The young mosquitoes were just some of the subjects studied at the Essex County Mosquito Control division, which operates from a public works complex on West Bradford Avenue.
