JEFFERSON — It was a cold and windy Monday at the
Berkshire Valley Golf Course but the bright sun hinted that spring was
drawing nearer as a bald eagle took off into the New Jersey sky.
The four-year-old male eagle was found on the side of the road near the Oak Ridge Reservoir in Morris County on Jan. 17. He was suffering from a dislocated wing, and a slight fracture of the left metacarpal bone.
