ATLANTIC CITY — Farming and agriculture may be facing difficult times with the economy but, then again, a farmer’s life is never easy.
“There’s great opportunities for farmers in a changing and dynamic world,” said Douglas H. Fisher, secretary of agriculture. “The global efficiencies have demanded our farmers pay close attention to trends that are developing and how to tailor their business, now and in the future, to a changing world.”
