A pair of bald eagles has managed to successfully breed in Ridgefield Park
for two consecutive years, and their 2013 nesting season is fast
approaching. But the pair's future - and perhaps the future of the
species entirely - in the Village, may be threatened.
The bald eagles' nest sits atop a tree on an industrial site owned by Pitcairn Skymark, an Atlanta-based company. Construction activity is presently underway at the site.
