Bergen County Audubon Society recently presented two companies, Wild Birds Unlimited in Paramus, New Jersey and Metropolitan Plant Exchange, with their first annual Local Business award.

“Wild Birds Unlimited in Paramus and Metropolitan Plant Exchange have supported local conservation efforts, from fundraising to habitat restoration projects," said Don Torino, President of Bergen County Audubon Society.

Both of these wonderful companies care about wildlife and the quality of life in our   community. They exemplify what can be accomplished when local businesses and conservation organizations team up to make a better environment for everyone. All of us who care about our neighorhoods should support small local businesses.
