EnviroGuy: October weather demolishes more records in New Jersey, according to state climatologist

The Oct. 29 nor’easter shattered snowfall records for an October storm and for October, according to the state climatologist.

The 19.1 inches of heavy, very wet snow that fell in the Barry Lakes area of Vernon Township easily bested the previous October snowstorm record, according to a summary by David A. Robinson, the climatologist.
