Contradictory promises to a developer and residents will be questioned on Nov. 3, when Edison conducts a court-ordered public hearing regarding a proposed amendment to its Green Acres Recreation and Open Space Inventory.
As ordered by Superior Court, the township has submitted a request for an amendment to the state Department of Environmental Protection so that .1 acre in the Dismal Swamp off Alexis Lane can be included in a developer’s plan to a build a Jehovah’s Witnesses church on her landlocked property.
