“The NJMC is pleased to showcase the works of Meadowlands District artists that highlight the region’s stunning natural beauty,” said Marcia Karrow, Executive Director of the NJMC. “This exhibit further adds a sense of place and identity to the Meadowlands Environment Center and DeKorte Park.”
The group show features professional and amateur artists, many of whom come from Meadowlands District towns including Rutherford, Lyndhurst and North Bergen. In addition to photography, the show includes sketches, oils, watercolors and acrylics of local wildlife and landscapes.
The Flyway Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, excluding holidays. DeKorte Park encompasses one-square-mile of wetlands, nature trails and water views and is a great place for bird watching and enjoying nature in general.
