NJ.com: Wild New Jersey Road Trip returns to Westfield

On Tuesday, Oct. 11, The Garden Club of Westfield will host “Wild New Jersey, Nature Adventures in the Garden State” presented by Naturalist David Wheeler. The meeting will be held at 1 p.m. in the Parish House of the Presbyterian Church in Westfield, 140 Mountain Ave. Guests from Westfield and other towns are most welcome to attend.
A Westfield High School graduate, David Wheeler today is a naturalist, writer & director. He will share reflections of his year-long journey through New Jersey to find unusual places and fascinating creatures that were off the beaten path. His recently published book is the result of his explorations. He had the guidance of wildlife biologists and local conservationists. This Westfield High graduate, writer and director of operations for the non-profit Edison Wet Lands Association. His books will be available for purchase and signing after the meeting.
