MyCentralJersey.com: Plainfield exhibit celebrates living diversity on the earth

Visitors to Plainfield’s Swain Galleries can view a rare sight – a margay. Leslie Delgyer’s pastel portrait of the American variety of wild cat evokes the full feline dignity of this endangered species. The piece features in the “Feathers and Fur” exhibit, which spotlights a pair of highly accomplished wildlife artists and their subjects.

The pastel paintings of Delgyer and Karen McCormack remain at Swain until Wednesday (Sept. 28). Both artists then return for a personal demonstration of their divergent technical styles from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sept. 24.
