A group of Bull-Nosed Rays were spotted off the Jersey Shore last Wednesday near Island Beach State Park. The stingrays, about 8-to-10 feet in size, were spotted between 1:30 and 2 p.m. about 250 feet just off the Grant Avenue and Blaine Avenue beaches.

The bullnose ray is harmless to humans.
