Loved-starved Lothario, or just a down-on-his-luck wanderer?

Either way, he’s apparently smarter than the average bear.

Over the past 18 months, bear number 6131 — he doesn’t have a name, just a tag number — has been found and captured five times, in an extended walking tour of New Jersey that has taken him from the woods of Parsippany to the highways of Hightstown, evading capture at one point by pulling off his tracking collar.
