Ever wondered who, or what, takes over the beach each evening after sunset? Join Naturalist Paige Cunningham for an evening walk on the beach at Cape May’s Cove in search of a nocturnal favorite, the Ghost Crab.

“Nighttime on the Beach” takes place every Thursday from July 7 September 1. July tours take place from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., while all August and the September 1 tours are from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Bring a flashlight and bug spray, and meet at the beach access point at the end of Mount Vernon Ave., off of Broadway (toward the Cove). There is free parking along the streets after 6:00 p.m. The fee $5.00 per person, with children under the age of three admitted free.
