Daily Record: Protecting water and wetlands in the Dismal Swamp

One man’s stinky, useless swamp is another man’s beautifully abounding treasure, environmentalists say.

If that’s the case, there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that is the dream of the Edison Wetlands Association, an environmental watchdog and education group that aims to make an outdoor education center out of the Dismal Swamp Conservation Area that borders Edison, South Plainfield and Metuchen.
