Daily Record: Mendham Preserve provides education for kids in summer

In addition to an ongoing mission of preserving northern New Jersey’s open space, the Schiff Nature Preserve in Mendham also provides environmental stewardship education to a group that all too often misses out on it: children.

The Schiff Summer Nature Program for Kids provides children “with opportunities to play, explore and learn together while developing a sense of community, self-confidence and an appreciation for the natural world,” according to the Schiff Natural Lands Trust website.
