CBS New York: New Documentary Focuses On Efforts To Restore And Revitalize Raritan River

An ongoing fight by environmentalists to clean up the longest river in New Jersey has been turned into a documentary called "Rescuing a River: The Raritan."
Right now, the Edison Wetlands Association is urging the town of Edison to close a local landfill which they say stopped accepting trash 20 years ago.

Stop by to fill in the South Plainfield Community Health Survey. The survey will provide an understanding of the environmental health needs of people who live or work in South Plainfield, along with an understanding of community strengths, and potential resources to address those needs.
Survey Details:
·You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
·The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete.
· All responses will be kept strictly confidential.
·Pick up free literature about environmental issues in your community.
·Everyone who completes the survey will receive a $5 A&P gift card
.Refreshments will be served.
