NJDEP News Release: New film and school curriculum teach residents to understand and co-exist with black bears

The Department of Environmental Protection has released a new film documentary and companion school curriculum as part of its continuing effort to educate New Jersey residents about co-existing with black bears as numbers of the animals have increased, resulting in more bear-human encounters.
