The Star-Ledger: Three giant tortoises make their debut at Turtle Back Zoo

Andy, a 52 year old Aldabra tortoise grazes at Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange on Thursday, June 10 , 2011. For the first time since the 1990s, giant tortoises will be on view at Essex County's Turtle Back. Three giant tortoises – two Aldabra and one Galapagos – are part of the South American Animal Exhibit until a Giant Tortoise Exhibit can be developed.
