From A DC Birding Blog: "Yesterday evening this Red Admiral (Vanessa atalanta) was sunning itself on a grape leaf. Usually when I see Red Admirals at rest, they have their wings closed over their backs. This one, though, kept them spread open for a long time, with its back angled towards the setting sun."
