NJ.com: What creatures lurk in the Great Swamp?

This rusty crawfish is not thrilled about being discovered hiding in the Great Swamp.

Creature from the black lagoon? No, its just a rusty crawfish that is out and about for mating season in the Great Swamp. This little guy looks enormous but is really about 4 inches long and has been native in the swamp for years according to Wildlife Biologist Craig Bitler.
