Kelly Simonetti lives at Antler Ridge Wildlife Sanctuary in Newton, the 120-acre farm and wildlife refuge she and her husband purchased in 2001 and converted into an animal refuge in 2005.

When Simonetti, 50, a registered nurse, isn’t working full time for a health care company, she’s working full-time as a wildlife rehabilitator licensed to care for small mammals such as racoons, skunks, fawns and squirrels.
