Police say Jackson, NJ is experiencing more black bear sightings than ever, and residents are urged to be cautious.

"We've had sightings before, but never this many in this short of a time period,'' said police Capt. David Newman. ""The bears are looking for garbage that's outside. In one case, a bear tore open an enclosed screen porch because it was looking for food.''
