My Central Jersey: What's good for the goose? NJ farmland

If Diane Reas slapped a bumper sticker on her tractor, it would read "Honk if you've got geese." Reas and other farmers are inundated with aggressive fowl, who devour crops and turn pristine ponds to sludge with their droppings.

New Jersey is the most densely populated state in the nation and hungry gaggles of geese are focusing on farms as a steady source of vegetation. Reas and her husband Leslie own 100 acres at Cape May Point, just a short hop from a wildlife preserve for migratory birds.
