The Friends of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission is taking a bus trip to the beautiful Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. This trip is open to everyone from any town.

Longwood gardens has 350 acres of walkable sections and a 4.5 acre glass conservatory.  The gardens are filled with 11,000 varieties of plants and have more fountains than any other garden in the US.

The trip is planned for Sunday, May 1, 2011.  The bus will leave from the Senior Center parking lot at 9:00 AM and return at 7:00 pm in the evening.  The trip will include round trip bus service, admissions to Longwood Gardens and a private tour of the history of the gardens beginning at 1:00 PM that will last for about an hour.  A full service restaurant and a quicker cafeteria style food service will be available at the gardens.  Both have excellent food that you may purchase on your own on the day of our trip at your convenience.  You can also bring your own brown bag lunch to eat on the bus if you so choose.  They also have a large gift shop selling garden related merchandise if you are so inclined.

The cost of the trip is $40.00 for adults, $35.00 for seniors and $25.00 for students.

Receipt of your check made payable to the "Friends of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission" reserves your spot for the trip.  You can pay for the trip by mailing your check by April 15th to:
