The Delaware River is at risk and needs your help. The Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC), the commission in charge of protecting the watershed, is rushing to allow gas drilling in an area that supplies drinking water to 15 million people.

Due to public pressure, the commission has extended their deadline for written public comments. They needed more time to hear from millions of people whose drinking water sources could be negatively impacted. The DRBC's proposed rules would allow an area, which is now 89% forested, to be turned into an industrial landscape.
