Times of Trenton: University plans huge campus solar project

Princeton University said yesterday it will build a solar collector field in West Windsor with the potential to generate enough power to serve 700 households, with construction slated to begin in 2012. The field would encompass 27 acres of university-owned land, with the system featuring a proposed 16,500 photovoltaic panels, which would make it one of the largest single installations at a U.S. college or university.
