I always find that birds in my backyard are most active after snowstorms.  This week's ice storm proved to be no different.  I had many visitors in my yard, most of which were eager to be next in line for the suet after the sleet had stopped.  Visitors included a bluejay, cardinal, downy woodpecker, dark-eyed juncos, white-breasted nuthatch, and white-throated sparrows.  The best part is I got to enjoy the company of all these birds just by looking out my kitchen window!
