NJ Outdoors: Free birding event Saturday for kids at Heinz Refuge

The Fledging Birders Institute will host a free event this Saturday, January 8th, for kids ages 8-16.  The program, taking place at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge in Tinicum, PA, will begin at 8:30am and run until approximately 1pm.  Yes, this event is taking place in Pennsylvania, but it is only 15 minutes from the New Jersey border and is an excellent opportunity to introduce children to the outdoors and to bird-watching.
