The Star-Ledger: Several 'nuisance bears' killed during bear hunt, DEP official says

The Department of Environmental Protection said 23 of the 591 bears killed in last week's six-day bear hunt were nuisance bears, or bears who had attempted break-ins of property, according to a report on NJHerald.com.
