WNJ Video: From Birdies to Birding at Colonia Country Club

Golf courses offer plenty of open space, but until recently, the potential for wildlife habitat was often overlooked.  In this two-minute news video, WildNewJersey.tv Productions explores the proposed preservation of the Colonia Country Club in highly developed Woodbridge, New Jersey.  Mayor John McCormac is leading the charge to purchase and preserve the site through State Green Acres.  Complementing the club's ongoing operations, future plans range from increasing birding opportunities to restoring wetlands and waterways.
