NJN News: Coyote Population on the Rise in New Jersey

Motorists are being warned to keep an eye out for deer during their fall breeding season.  But drivers may also want to be aware of another animal.  State environmental officials believe there are probably three thousand coyotes in New Jersey.  As the population increase there have been more sightings.
