Verona Cedar Grove Times: DiVincenzo announcing plans for 2011 deer hunt today

Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo Jr. will outline plans for the next round of controlled deer hunts in the Hilltop Reservation this afternoon. Hunts are held each year to reduce the deer population. DiVincenzo has invited local reporters to a press conference in West Orange to announce details of the fourth-annual deer-management program. For the second consecutive year, the hunt will take place in the Hilltop and will be held in January and February 2011, according to county officials.
