WNJ Exclusive: Schiff Nature Preserve - Farm Fest 2010 success!

"The third year of our farm festival allowed us to expand our offerings,including a chili cook-off and a series of presentations on local food. Not only did people have a lot of fun with games like the pumpkin slingshot, musical entertainment by Tom Rice and Friends, but people got a chance to connect to their local farmers, too. Thanks to the participation from many community groups, we were able to raise funds for Schiff and other charities supported by the Mendham Junior Woman's Club, and as with all successful events, people came away happy,well-fed and more knowledgeable than when they arrived."
