This weekend, Saturday & Sunday, September 11 & 12, is the 7th annual Meadowlands Festival of Birding. This is a great event that will give you the opportunity to learn more about birding from some of our area's experts! The ticket price of $40 includes breakfast and lunch on Saturday, birding walks, a birding cruise on a comfortable pontoon boat, indoor programs such as a live raptor demonstration, a bird banding demonstration out in the field and a keynote speech by Richard Crossley, a co-author of The Shorebird Guide. Children 10-17 are admitted free, and children 9 and under are not permitted. This is a rain or shine event (no refunds will be given).

Print out a copy of the brochure HERE , look at the schedule, plan your days, then call 201-968-0808 or go online HERE to register. You will be mailed a wristband and lunch ticket, and you'll be all set for a weekend of fun and discovery!
