NJ Audubon: Kayak Tours at The Nature Center of Cape May

Alas, summer is coming to an end, but you still have time for plenty of kayaking adventure with Aqua Trails Kayaks at the Nature Center of Cape May. Now through September 6, daily “Tidal Marsh Kayak Eco-tours” are available at 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Your naturalist-guide will accompany you into the great Cape May Salt Marsh, where you can expect close encounters with ospreys, herons, egrets and beautiful salt marsh flora and fauna, as well as migrating shore birds on their way south to warmer waters.
No previous kayaking experience is necessary. Call the Nature Center of Cape May, at 609.898.8848 to reserve your spot. The fee for each tour is $40.00 for a single kayak and $70.00 for a double.
Kayaking tours depart from the nature center, located at 1600 Delaware Avenue, in Cape May, on the shores of Cape May Harbor.
