The Record: Black bear naps at Bergenfield country club

Video credit: NorthJersey.com

A young black bear that was chased through back yards in Bergenfield took a two-hour break and a nap near the 4th hole at the Knickerbocker Country Club golf course Sunday before taking off again.

The bear sighting joins coyote, bald eagle, and northern water snakes as perhaps the new wave of golf aficionados in New Jersey, as detailed in last week's WildNewJersey.tv exclusive about wildlife thriving on many golf courses across the state: Wild New Jersey Exclusive: Wildlife and the golf course, from Caddyshack to Coyoteshack
