NewJerseyNewsRoom.com: Hammerhead sharks in New Jersey waters!

What a catch! Ventnor Heights, N.J., resident Stacy McCarron caught a hammerhead shark two weeks ago in Lakes Bay. The crew — Stacy and her husband Matt McCarron, boat captain Steve Weierbach and first mate Michael Munn — intended to reel in flounder. Finding a hammerhead shark in New Jersey waters is rare, The Press of Atlantic City reported. That newspaper described the shark as "maybe two feet long, wide, flat face, eyes staring in opposing directions... on the end of Stacy McCarron's line."
