This book will cover Wheeler's year outdoors touring many of New Jersey's most scenic and rugged areas. Guided by some New Jersey's foremost experts, Wheeler meets the state's most charismatic wildlife up close - from bats and black bears to sandhill cranes and timber rattlesnakes.  The Fall-Winter 2010 Rutgers Press catalog, released this month, features an image from Wild New Jersey on the cover, a shot of Wheeler at the breathtaking Delaware Water Gap.
