DailyRecord.com: Cops kill bruin that broke into Kinnelon home

A 250-pound male black bear that broke into a Thornwood Drive home was scared away by three police officers was shot and killed after it returned shortly after, police said. Police first responded to the home at 4:48 p.m. on Friday after the homeowner called 911 to report a bear had broken through the screen door of her kitchen.
