PressofAtlanticCity.com: Barnegat Township stops Ocean Acres development, suspects survey on pine snakes was rigged

The township's government decided Monday night not to allow home construction on a 38-acre wooded segment of the Ocean Acres residential development. The would-be developer of 50 of the 135 lots in Ocean Acres Phase 3 will ask a judge to overturn the decision, said Joe DelDuca, attorney for The Walters Group. "We're going to have to file a lawsuit to protect ourselves andto protect the other property owners, and the taxpayers of Barnegatare going to have to foot that bill," DelDuca said.
