William Lewis: "We hope everyone enjoyed this year's Kayak & Canoe tour or race. Please put us on your calendar for next year's water sports events. The event can only grow with your help! Your participation in either the race or tour provides funding for the Ken Francis Environmental Scholarship Fund. This year the fund is awarding (2) $250 scholarships to resident seniors pursuing Environmental Sciences in their academia careers. Also a grant will be awarded to a youth or youth group up to $500 for a community project. Many of our staff was out on the water clearing trees and debris to ensure a safe passage by all. We have noted parts that need more work and will continue to work on the water trail. Below are some links to the photos that were taken by Charlotte Lewis and Danelle Lewis. You are welcome to use any of the photos taken just please acknowledge the source. Thanks again for a great 2010 KF Kayak & Canoe tour/race. Hope to see you again next year!
