The Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association and Hopewell Valley Golf Club celebrated the the Golf Club's River-Friendly Certification with a special dedication ceremony at Member's Opening Day on Saturday, April 17.

Amy Weaver, Watershed Association stewardship program coordinator, presented club members and leadership, represented by Matt Stout, superintendent of Hopewell Valley Golf Club, with a River-Friendly Certificate. Ultimately, the course will receive a custom hand-carved cedar sign announcing the club's River-Friendly achievement.
