MyCentralJersey.com: Scenic nature trail opens along Raritan River in Edison

It was a perfect day to mark the completion of the first phase of the Raritan Riverfront walkway giving visitors access to a 7-mile stretch of riverfront.

"The weather is ideal. It's the perfect day to see nature," said David Wheeler of the Edison Wetlands Association, which along with the township and WildNewJersey.tv, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday to mark the opening of the walkway.
