Join Edison Wetlands Association (EWA), Clean Ocean Action, and Bayshore Recycling on April 24-25 as they celebrate Earth Day with the Sea Shepherd’s flag ship, the Steve Irwin. The Steve Irwin is making a brief stop in the United States before continuing on to the Mediterranean to commence with the upcoming campaign to defend critically endangered blue-fin tuna populations.
"We invite people to meet the crew of the Steve Irwin, tour the ship, and show your support for Sea Shepherd’s numerous ocean defense campaigns," said Robert Spiegel, Executive Director of EWA.
This is a unique opportunity and the vessel’s first visit to the U.S. since joining the fleet of Neptune’s Navy. Ship tours will run daily from 10 AM- 3 PM at Bayshore Recycling, 75 Crows Mill Rd, Keasbey, NJ08832.
