New Green Media: Re-Purpose New Jersey Clothing Drive April 16-18

Edison Wetlands Association (EWA),
Re-Purpose New Jersey and Bayshore Recycling Corp. are hosting the first
annual Earth Day Clothing Drive at Woodbridge Mall collecting and
recycling clothing, shoes and other textiles. A media event kicking off
the clothing drive will be held on Friday, April 16th at 11 AM near the
Applebee’s entrance of Woodbridge Mall, located at 250 Woodbridge
Center Drive in Woodbridge, New Jersey.
The clothing drive will run during mall visiting hours from 10 am – 9:30 pm on Friday and Saturday, April 16-17, and 11 am to 7 pm on Sunday, April 18. Re-Purpose New Jersey, EWA’s sustainability pioneer program, that recycles clothing, shoes, and other textiles from municipalities, businesses, universities, and schools at no cost. By keeping these materials out of landfills and incinerators, recycling textiles is good for the environment and saves millions of hard-earned taxpayer dollars in disposal costs.
