The Record: Bear family won’t be evicted from den under Kinnelon deck

Sometimes the only way to deal with an unwanted guest is to just grin and bear it. That’s what a McKinley Drive family is doing after spotting a black bear under their deck late last month. Kinnelon police were summoned and contacted the state Division of Fish and Wildlife, which dispatched a crew to the scene, said Sgt. Joseph Fiduccia. Fiduccia said the crew’s plan was to tranquilize the bear and relocate it.
