As any New Jerseyan knows, a warm spring evening is the perfect time for catching bullfrogs.  Okay, maybe it's not the most popular nightlife scene in the state, but Turtle Pond in Edison is a great meeting spot for these loud, hefty jumpers.

Bob Spiegel, David Wheeler and Dana Patterson of Edison Wetlands Association led a frog catching expedition on a recent night, and Patterson had the biggest catch of the day - a massive bullfrog that looked big enough to eat a painted turtle!  As the frog finally jumped out of Patterson's hands, Steve the Cat provided security detail for its return to Turtle Pond.  See photos below for this fun little mini-trip.
