WNJ Exclusive: Sierra Club & WildNewJersey.tv to host Dismal Swamp hike at Edison's Triple C Ranch

On Saturday, April 10, the New Jersey Sierra Club will be joining David Wheeler of Edison Wetlands Association and WildNewJersey.tv on a hike through the Dismal Swamp Conservation Area.  

 

The 1,250-acre Dismal Swamp is located in South Plainfield, Edison and Metuchen, and is home to nearly 200 species of birds, including a dozen threatened and endangered species such as yellow-crowned night-heron, American bittern, grasshopper sparrow, black-crowned night-heron, northern harrier, and Cooper’s hawk.
