The Franklin Institute: Live video of Red-tailed Hawk nest

Live video feed credit: The Franklin Institute

In January 2009, two red-tailed hawks built a nest on a window ledge at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. A live-feed camera was installed and thousands of people in the USA and around the world watched the three eggs hatch until the young hawks (eyasses) began flying at the end of May 2009. Now in January 2010, the parent hawks have returned to the nest, and are once again getting ready to raise their young.
