John Layton is a retired carpenter. His ability is apparent in the numerous projects he has worked in the area, from casinos to schools, and in the home he constructed nearly 50 years ago off of Delaware Avenue in the township. And since his 2000 retirement, he has lent his craft to creating homes for others, specifically bluebirds. Over the past decade, Layton has developed an extensive network of bluebird houses he built, placed and still monitors throughout the county.
